Hi, I am British, but have lived in Brittany, France for 10 years. I love the place, the people and the culture. Music and dancing are important here, and being surronded by sea on 3 sides, mariner life is also important in Brittany. It has strong Celtic roots, it is very different to the rest of France! I live in the heart of Brittany, it is very rural, yet only about 90 mins to the sea. I live next to the Quenecan forest, with its wild boar and deer.. and also the Guerledan lake, and the Nantes Brest canal. The area is beautiful, a little wild in nature. I still say WOW on a regular basis! TO be somewhere where you can HEAR silence, see fantastic sun rises, and so little light pollution at night, the stars are amazing! Yet I am not far from lovely villages, and Pontivy is my main town..well, hopefully I will post photos.. and I hope you enjoy them!
